Confirmation 2017

Welcome to our Confirmation program!

Some highlights of our preparation program include:

• a fun, inspirational and spiritual overnight retreat
• interactive large group presentations by guest speakers
• engaging small group class sessions
• involvement in a parish ministry which promotes a sense of belonging to our parish community

At Saint Margaret, students are confirmed in the spring of the 10th grade year with preparation beginning in spring of the 9th grade year. In order to be eligible to prepare for Confirmation, students must be enrolled in either a Catholic school or Catholic faith formation program in 9th grade.

Retreat

Oct. 8/9 OR Oct. 15/16 OR Oct. 22/23

Retreats will begin on Saturday morning at 9:00am at O’Dwyer Retreat House, in Sparks, MD – parents will drop off candidates directly at the Retreat House. Candidates will return by bus on Sunday in time for the 11:00 am Mass at Saint Mary Magdalen, after which we will show a brief video.
